Don Jones Memorial Scholarship

In honor of Art therapy pioneer Don Jones, each year one undergraduate and one graduate level student will be awarded a scholarship to attend the BATA Symposium
Applications are now being accepted for the Buckeye Art Therapy Association (BATA) Don Jones Memorial Student Scholarship to assist students in attending the 34th Annual BATA Symposium. The scholarship award includes the cost of student registration to the symposium and a stipend of $150 to help with travel, room & board. Finances collected through fundraising efforts at previous symposiums fund student scholarships.
This year’s Symposium "Self-Portrait: Art Therapy and the Professional Identity" will feature art therapy pioneer Myra Levick, PhD, ATR-BC. Dr. Levick will address the identity of art therapists guided by ethics, and how we perceive ourselves as professionals. For more information please visit: www.batasymposium.org.

Application deadline is May 29, 2015 and will be reviewed on May 30, 2015.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by email no later than June 12, 2015.
